Help choosing a car !
Hey guys, new to the site and hondas in general. I currently own a Grand Prix GTP and love the power (240 hp 280 tq) but i cant take the gas mileage anymore(costs me 85 per fillup and im lucky to get 400kms). Im in the market for a civic, preferably a hatch.
Im not sure what to look for, i definately have plans to go with a low boost turbo set up ( limited budget ).
What engine should i look for?
What year?
What model?
Which engine handles boost best?
I am 6'4 310, will i even fit in a honda lol?
Any help is appreciated.

5th or 6th generation civics(1992-2000) are light, lots of parts are interchangeable. B-series engines(b16, b18, b20) are the most common ones we modify for a few reasons, relatively cheap, good with boost, dual-cam , great aftermarket support etc. about your size lol not trying to offend my uncle's a big guy too he prefers the hatch to my coupe (its wider). Oh and 2 words of advice on this forum: Learn to search because we dont like answering questions twice. 2nd, We are extremely hostile toward n00bs. Don't take it personally
B series engine in 99-00 Si's and 90-01 Integras handle the boost the best.
Stock single cam engines from 92-00 Civics (non Si) can handle a little over 200hp. My stock single cam VTEC engine made 230whp, but I had it detuned to 210whp and it ran fine for a whole year. I beat that poor engine and it never gave out.

I am 6'3 250lbs and sit comfortably in my 94 civic hatchback that was getting 40-50 mpg before I did a motor swap. I replaced the civic seats with integra seats for more comfort

Integra seats sit about an inch lower than Civic seats so I would nab a set.
Dont worry, I absolutely hate that stuff lol. Only thing I have is HID's in my car now. I laugh when I see cars with every stick on part from autozone on them.
