hey hello to everyone on this fine day! was wondering why my gas pedal is stuck or very stiff the first time it is depressed at start up. I start the car let it warm up put it in gear and go to take off and the pedal must be forced like its stuck on something but then its okay. i've looked at accelerator cable nothing seems to be wrong, any suggestions

Have you actually looked under the dash at the pedal?

 

Does your throttle plate open and snap shut?

Check the pedal itself, it might need to be relubed. Same for the spring on the TB.
