Other than using two coats of copper spray on both sides, is there any other tips you all know of that will hopefully ensure the sealing? Ive read past threads where people have problems with their cars smoking because so much coolant in the combustion chamber.

It wont make a difference that I have 81.5mm bore and the gasket is 81mm right? I ordered it because my block was decked before and I needed to lower my compression a little with the JE 9.8:1. Stock gasket sealed just fine last rebuild....any tips?? Really dont want to have to pull it all back out after I finish.

 

where did you get the copper spray?

 

Dont have it yet..going to try to pick it up at a local auto parts store like napa, pep boys, or autozone. Any tips?
