Hey Honda guys/girls!! I been outta the honda game for over a year now since my EM1 was stolen and I moved onto the Subaru folks. In the past few weeks I began looking into S2K's to use as a DD instead of my subie. I want to stance out the s2k but I'm kinda stuck on what wheel sizes and offsets I can get away with. I searched before I posted this and called many places and all say different stuff

I know what I will need done in terms of suspension and body mods to make this work but can any of you point me in the right direction? (Please no flaming/hating)

Looking at XXR's 527 either 17X9.5 +35-40 or 18X9.5 +35-40 ALL AROUND

I want to know what tire width would be superb for this wheel..225? 235?

it all depends on how low u go and how much camber. all 4 sizes will work. you will fosho need to flare the front fenders and rol the rears and relocate ur bumper tab

 

^i would like to be flush and try to have as little camber as possible I known I can't get rid of all of it but close to stock. And relocating the bumper tab? So I'll have to plastic weld the tab else where?

^thanks. What coilovers would you recommend? BC Racing? Stance? Buddy Club? something else? I want it so I can be flush and not too stiff if thats not to much to ask for.

 

any one of them will get u low. considering u wana b hella flush and dont really care for hadeling id say go with w/e is cheapest. for the money id say get the buddy club n+ they r known to go low as **** and ride ok.

Just throwing this out there, but try buying wheels that make sense.

S2000 is one of the most worthless daily drivers. If you don't want to drive the **** out of it, you're doing it wrong.

XXRs could be one of the worst things to happen to S2000 fenders since female asian drivers.

 

What wheels do you recommend then?

All the stupidity of "hella flush" (which is what "stance" is a different term for) with even less practicality.

 

big mistake... stance offers no performance benefit whatsoever... buy some wide fenders and have them installed profesionally, instead of wasting money on a camber kit, and wasting tires... it looks stupid and completely riced out!

and dont torture an s2k with being a daily driver!... it deserves better than that!!

That is what I love about a car that performs. It wont go out of style. Maybe Neon lights will make a huge come back?
