Default just got back from the track:( (kinda long)

Well I just had a depressing night of running the car. Let me start off by posting my BEST run.

r/t- .662
60'- 2.444
330- 6.801
1/8- 10.449
mph- 66.48
1000- 13.608
1/4- 16.279
mph- 83.95

So that was my BEST run remember... Out of the 8 runs that I made my times ranged from that to a 16.44 @ 85.88 mph with a 2.483 60' foot time. I have a 91 crx si w/ d16y8, p28 ecu (using a jumper harness), OBD-1 dist, I/H/C/E, running the obd-0 injectors through the injector resistor box at 42psi. What the hell is going on . I orginally had the fuel pressure set at 47psi a few weeks ago and the car felt better, power tonight was dying off at 6900 rpm. I think it is because I am not getting eanough fuel pressure when VTEC hits, but who knows...............

It was about 75-80 degrees and dry. Yeah I know that my 60' times suck... I tried everything from feathering the clutch, to, diffrent rpm ranges, but everytime I got about the same consistent 60' times. I am going to work on it though. Thanks for the reply

yeah what tranny do you have on their?

60' times is the first thing to work on (if your car is running right...)

Yep try to get those 60' times down. That is hurting you the most if everything in the car is running correctly.

I am running a 91 crx si tranny, that I had rebuilt like 10k miles ago.... For alot of my slips I was beating the contender next to me through the 1/8th mile, then as soon as 3rd gear hit I would get walked..... How much total et do I gain by knocking off a tenth of my 60' time??? Thanks

Hmmm. Your Y8 should definately be faster than that. On my Y8 in my CRX I had the OBD-I conversion (homemade) running the Y8 distributor, P28 ECU, Y8 injectors, and I had fuel pressure set at around 37-38 psi, with timing advanced 2 degrees; I was pulling 15.3's all day with only an I/E, stripped interior + no passenger seat... Best run was a 15.2, best MPH was 90.

Anyways, check your cranking compression. Sounds like maybe you have a dud motor. And I'm pretty sure you shouldn't be running OBD-O injectors and a resistor box...

for every 0.1 in 60' times, take 0.2 off your total et.

Does the motor seem to run just fine, if not do a tuneup, or maybe you have to work a little on your driving. What kind of tires are you using?
