Gauge cluster minor(?) problem
Did a tach cluster swap on my '89 DX; factory tach reads low below 3000 (idles close to 0) but seems to be accurate above 4000 when compared to aftermarket tach I had installed yrs back. Does tapping 2 tach signals cause one to read low? Another issue is the temp gauge now reads approx 1/4 vs old cluster reading of 1/2. Cooling sys is A OK & heater is hot. Any opinions/advice? djjsc(at)juno(dot)com Thanks.

"So your tach isnt accurate until 4k and up?"
Appears that way when compared to the aftermarket tach still in car. By 5K the factory tach reads higher than the aftermarket. And I know a D15 doesn't idle @300 RPM (or less). WUZZUP??
