So I bought a 92 hatch a few days ago for a good price (has a d16z6) but the driver side door has a huge rust hole right under the mirror which causes water to drench the carpet when it rains. There is also a huge dent in the passenger door. I have 2 door off a 93 coupe that were power windows, is there any way to convert then to manual? I Tried it last night with my brother and the manual window regulator didn't match the holes in the 93s door to bolt up. Do I have to drill through the inner panel to make the regulators bolt up or is there another way?

tl;dr 92 manual regulators will not match up in a 93 door that had power windows

 

The regulators just swap over. They don't use the same holes, but the holes are already there. I've swapped manual regulators out for power ones on the same vehicle.

yeah everything is good now! Lol I had a fun time putting the doors back on the car by myself though :p
