mfactory final drive for d series

Default mfactory final drive for d series

i have a 2000 civic dx and i m interest of mfacotry 4.5 or maybe 4.7 final drive.
has anyone try mfactory final drive and how will it effect gas mileage ( i mostly drive in city)

Have you considered swapping in a Z6 or Y8 tranny first? It's A. a better transmission to start with (bigger bearings and geared shorter) and B. cheaper than buying a final drive.

If you do a lot of city driving and you can run in 5th in town a lot you probably wont loose much in the way of mileage. On the highway, yes you will.

That said MFactory makes really nice stuff.

yes. i have consider getting 96-00 ex tranny if i can find one with good condition and low mileage and this would be my best bet.
will the 4.5 final drive and ex tranny effect any gas mileage?
