Nice ride for sure. A couple things i'm interested in. Is it true the jdm dc5 uses the newer laser cut keys?

I'm also interested in what features the oem deck has in that car, is it just nav and stereo. If it does have nav, can it be updated with a North American map?

 

I'm not sure about the key being laser cut. It is very similar to my S2000 key though and the nav isn't factory, it's an aftermarket Kenwood. From what I've experienced in the past, US maps cannot be uploaded on JDM navs (at least for EM/EK civics). Anyone else know if this is possible?

If you have a chance, i wouldn't mind seeing a picture of the key and fob for your car. I am pretty sure they are unique to that car

Ive never seen an 01 DC5-R before, this is very interesting.

 

DC5 R got sent to Japanese dealers in late 2001 early 2002.
