lol must be new bud... IMO= in my opinion... air intake systems to me are a budget/preference item... I've dyno'd a few different brands and haven't really found any substantially better than another... I dyno's one of my old civics with a cheapo APC cold air intake and then bought an injen setup and lost 2hp according to the dyno...

This is funny. Mainly because if it would have been around then, these are the questions that would have been asked on the H-T of 1992.

Headers are headers. If you're on an ebay intake budget, any header in your price range will be AC compatible.

Megan Racing makes decent cheapie stuff. There's one on my EM1 right now and it's been doing just fine.

Just a little friendly heads up, DON'T start asking about which one will give you the most horsepower, or even how much horsepower to expect from any of these things.

It's been proven time and time again that an intake/header/exhaust type mod on an otherwise stock engine won't make much of a difference as far as power goes. It'll give you "street cred" with your parking lot meet buddies and make your car annoyingly loud, and that's about it.

Your compressor location isn't any different from anybody else's. Hate to burst your bubble, but you're not special.

Also, any modding you do to replace factory parts.....KEEP THE FACTORY PARTS!!! I've spent a good bit of money re-replacing all my OEM parts under the hood to go back to stock. I'm about 99% back to having a pristine stock EBP EM1.
