EJ1 Build Thread...Clean Huh? = )
Whats up HT, I'll start off by a little history of how far i've came to ge this car. I had a 4 door Eg Lx model pretty clean just need a paint job and some body rust on it. Traded it for a 00 TL with clean title just the only thing is that it had 250k on it SMH...kept the call for about 8 days until i traded it for a 98 Ek Yellow Hatch. It was rebuilt title so i was skeptical about the trade but i went ahead and did it anyways. The ower told me he was going on boost, it has this and that yadda yadda yadda. Kept it and honestly i started to just hate the fact that its a rebuilt title. Threw about 2k into it and i said you know what i gotta get rid of this car. So an oppurtunity arose and thats where this beauty came in. My 95 EJ1 Ex Coupe. I've always wanted a coupe, had one before but didnt have a sunroof. Welllll this one does and that makes me really
...everything works, has no ac and no ps but i'm picking up the ac parts this saturday. I have many plans for it. Wont be a baller build like some of you great honda builders on Honda-Tech but definately a quality build with quality parts = ). With that being said on to the pics...All comments are welcome, negative, positive and opinions. I really dont care if its negative because at the end of the day its my car and i'll do as i please with it...Thanks again = )
(The day i got her, paint looks like a champange color, not bad i'll probably switch it back to OEM color if not this would do)

(Here's a side picture)

(Another Side Picture)

(A pic from behind)

(Interior is pretty mint, came with GSR interior, no rips, no stains)

(Both door panels are pretty minty, but im kinda leaning towards the ones with tweeters, gotta kind a good deal on those)

(The Back seats)

(Has an automatic cluster, thats a no-no, dash is pretty clean just needs some cleaning)

Thats it for now, again comments are welcomed, little by little it'll come back to life, i'll be ordering a few goodies in the up coming week. Thanks for looking = )

I am not sure what your definition of clean is, but that does not look very clean to me. Seats look worn, carpet not properly attached at the right locations in the rear, front carpet looks brownish... I mean it has potential but not clean yet. Maybe vacuuming, wiping down and doing a little detail work would put it in a cleaner category. I know with a little effort (an afternoon) you could have that interior looking clean. Its all in the little details.
R titles really aren't a bad thing. Seeings how the insurance sees these cars value being very low, it doesn't take much to "total" them out. I have an EJ1 with an R title, absolutely nothing wrong with the car, doesn't pull when driving, making any wierd noises or anything.
With some elbow grease that thing will look pretty decent inside. Just get some floor mats, cluster and you'll be golden. I love my dx gas mileage but wish I had the ex sunroof. Of course I also wish I had a hatch when I see one too.

I wouldn't call that a clean ride, it would take some work first. The interior, even though swapped from an Integra, doesn't look all the hot. Drivers seats worn, rear seats look terrible, but like i said, give it some love

Well, i didnt get much done to the car. got little bits of pieces the car was missing, both side skirts from a good friend aswell as rear mudflaps. I did manage to get my hands on some ITR Type R rear seats = )...to get those ugly teggy seats it had on the back. This weekend coming i will be doing a deep cleaning on the carpet and interior just to make it look better and fresh. Tell me what you guys think of the rear seats. BTW there at about 7-10 since it has 2 cigarette burns = ( and very minor fading from the sun, but never the less they still look better then the teggys.
(Here's a pic of the mudflaps and side skirt installed)

There just laying there as a mock up, need to make them fit nice and tight, also the carpet needs to be sitting flush aswell. I'll get to all of that little by little. Let me know what you guys think. Again all comments are welcomed. Thanks for viewing = )
