D16Y8 -- oil leak from bad head gasket
my '97 EJ6, started to leak oily badly between the head and the block. i was losing half a court of oil every 2 days..... it happened all of a sudden.
i pulled the head to replace the head gasket and the gasket was undeformed, no cracks, no rips anywhere. so when i pulled the head there was alot of coolant on the pistons....
im stressed because im worried that swapping the HG wont fix it. and i dont wanna have to strip down the motor again....
any help... please... what i could do..
or am i just tripping?

Pictures would be useful, or at least where between the head and the block it was leaking from.
Of course there was coolant in the cylinders - you took off the head without draining the system first.

double check the block deck and the head make sure they are sealing.....u may need to get the head shaved....idk hows your oil look?? is the leak like right under the dizzy kinda by the stat housing???
