have you tried the search function yet?

What are you looking for? Sound or Performance or both(which will cost you)? How much are you willing to spend?

If the sky is the limit, Hytech or SMSP is your choice.

Hytech and SMSP will net you from 10-15whp and 7-8wtq(?), depending on what mods you are currently running and if you tune your car. Both will set you back between $1000-$1300.

I have this exhaust on my car. It's pretty loud, unbearable for me w/o the silencer. Very streetable with the silencer. The exhaust netted me 7whp and 5wtq. R@D and IPS both sell this exhaust.

Is the 7whp and 5wtq gain with or without the silencer? If it is with the silencer, then it is impressive. But if it is without, then did you make any power with the silencer on??

Why run exhaust that you can't live with without the silencer, but only give gain with the silencer off? Why not just run stock exhaust on the street and open header when race?

I like my Kakimoto R, it make decent power over my old set up and it has great sound but not too loud.

But if sky is your limit, go with Hytech.

7whp/5wtq w/o the silencer. I lost all the power with the silencer. Why not just unbolt the exhaust for track events? TOO DAMN LOUD! and too much work. Those cat bolts are a ***** of a time to get off. All my track events are 2-3 hours away and I wouldn't want to wait for my car to cool down to take off my exhaust system, nor would I want to travel those 2 hours unbolted.

That's true, it is really hard to take off those bolts sometime. But if I am going to spend $500 on an exhaust, I would definitely like to feel the gain in power everyday when I drive around town, and not only during the track day. Well, unless my car is a track car, then I don't give a ****.

Then drive around town w/o the silencer. I do it, I can do it, it's bearable once i get USED to it which takes a while.

I thought you said it is unbearable for you w/o the silencer here.
Oh well, everyone have their own standard on what is loud or not.

I would say Kakimoto GT1.0Z!! It is very light and gives great power increase.

Presenting the Fujitsubo RM01A:

Very nice construction and quiet also. High quality piece at a price that is substantially less than the Mugen. If you want a subtle exhaust, this is another option for you.

It comes with 60.5mm stainless steel (SUS304) piping.

I'd go with the Fujitsubo RM01A ($700) if you want a stealth exhaust without the Mugen price tag ($975).

The only problem with that unit is the very restrictive resonators that are used.
