Ive heard ups, downs, left, n rights about this.....are there any major modifications, plastic replacements, or huge untolerable gaps to worry about?

They wont fit correctly, there will be gaps. There is no way to latch the seat backs.



next time search, this has been talked about many times. Also, EK doesn't help us.

 

New to the site, just wanted a quick answer, oh and not EK.....specifically 2000 Civic EX. So since they dont latch theyre just flopping around or do they fit snug? The reason is i want Integra recaro rear seats on ebay. Black suede and red stitching (SEX!!!) But hate to spend the money to soon realize they dont fit.....the end

No, the seat backs will NOT latch.

I guess you could do a pan swap. Swap the DC fabric onto the civic seat back.

Or, have a shop re do your seats to match.

Thanks guys, I think I'll just try n get Recaro material and get the stock seats wrapped....sounds easier.

 

The DB8 (4 door JDM ITR) rear seat is what most people use to re wrap their rear seat to match the JDM recaros. They run a little pricey though. I'm talking about coupes btw.
