Is there a lockout to prevent shifting from 5th gear into reverse if you "miss" 6th gear? I am looking to teach a rookie to drive a manual, and am worried he may not be able to find 6th and will jam it into reverse. Thanks!

Yea there's a lockout lol I had to teach my wife and that was my fear

 

yah theres a lockout, it wont allow you to put it into reverse even if you try purposely. so dont worry
