Hey guys i have a 95 civic ex.with a d15b7 block and a z6 head, im going to be doing a tune up soon but was wondering what plugs and wires to use. Do i need the ones for the z6 hrad or tje d15b7 block. My car has black smoke comin out the exhaust when i get on it from unburnt fuel and such, with the way gas prices are im tryin not to waste gas. Any and all help is appreaciated. Also trying to get the most power out of the motor.

You want to get plugs and Wires for the Z6. And if it has black smoke coming out then you are running rich, unless your plugs are 100% Gone (and if they are there is probably a reason for this). Are you sure that your timing is correct?

Use the z6 ones altho they mite be the same. Cant hurt to run a fuel system cleaner through her with a full tank of at least mid grade, ive had great results doing this with redlines product on my 95ex z6. Hopefully that helps. Check timing, and all necessary sensors. Best of luck.

if you are giong to use a fuel cleaner, use Techron. Its the best by far, and independent testing recently proved that Techron was the only additive that really worked.
