Default CRX Brake Bias on track

For those who track their CRXs, I have rear disks from an integra with the 4040 proportioning valve. The car has WAY too much rear brake when threshold braking. I was wondering what other peoples experiences were and what you are using.

I'm having trouble finding a 2040 proportioning valve, and they are discontinued from HONDA.

Front brakes are stock 88 CRX si rotors/calipers, the booster is NM-205v-3 and has a 7/8 MC

I would just go to a more aggresive pad up front. It would also be a good idea to recheck your rear camber just to make sure nothing slipped. Do you have stock rear drums lying around? If so you could just put them back on. They actually work pretty well, you just need to occasionally adjust them. Porterfield even makes a few compounds of performance shoes.

Also as a side note the 88 si calipers are smaller than the 89-81.

88 si caliper piston diameter - 49mm
89-91 si caliper piston diameter - 53mm

Might as well go bigger up front.

Yes, get the integra knuckles up front and call it a day.

Did you try it with an EX master cylinder?

sell the rear brakes and get drums. take the extra money you got and buy another set of front pads.

Car has an integra 15/16th MC matched with the 260 BB.

Is there a way to keep the larger integra rear hubs and convert the rear brakes back to drum?
