well you're going to throw a code for the speed sensor. instead of clearing the code, you should have checked what codes you were throwing. that way your readiness monitors wouldn't have to be reset
you're your own worst enemy there, bud

heres how to get the o2 sensor ready

and the evap system
"A cold engine startup (ECT sensor signal more than 154ºF and IAT sensor signal more than 14ºF at startup) is required. Start the engine and allow it to run for 3-5 minutes, followed by an acceleration period to 50-60 mph at steady throttle.Temp has to be below 64-68 degrees, the highest I've been able to clear the Evap readiness is at 72 degrees."

I believe the cat and o2 monitors are the hardest to get ready

Allow it to run for 3-5 minutes: Idle for 3-5 minutes? city drive for 3-5 minutes? Does it matter?

Heres the problem, did you see him mention that it wont becone ready unless the temp is below 68 degrees? Yeah, try getting a car ready when a temp that low is required in the middle of summer in az. A guy had the same issue with his s2000. He had to keep his garage door closed, all vents taped up, door to the house open, and ac cranked to get the system to pass. I think he ducted the exhaust pipe out one of his vents, or opened the garage immediatly before starting it in the middle of the night.

And I believe its idle for 3-5 minutes so the ecu can perform its idle reset.

That's what I've done so far. Ironically I have to drive to Phoenix this morning, so that should get plenty of mileage on the reset ECU.
