when i first got it..pretty much stayed this way until i got back from a deployment to afghanistan then the real modding began

during my down time overseas i'd hop on the forums and look for parts. this is how it looked immediately after i got back. needless to say i was a busy boy

then a few months later had a little accident. long story...

took it to my friend's shop and they hooked me up. decided to fix all the little dings and dents and a fresh coat of paint.

good as new

then a few months after that hit a safety cone laying in the middle of the freeway at 4 in the morning

took it back to my friend's shop and he hooked me up again with an a-spec rear and sides. picked up the lip from a friend of a friend. this is how it currently sits. sold the mugens and recaros in the process and went back to stockies.

numbers after a simple street tune. pretty good i think.

Is it a late model Si tranny, in which you you plan to swap in a TSX 6th gear, and mod the shift linkage to fit in your DC5? This is what i am planning to do to mine, lsd is nice to have too
Nice car btw, oh, and you have to love the oem 05-06 type s rims

Nice to see another rsx build on here....
I remember on crsx you were saying you were done putting money into it, but based on the k-tuned box it doesn't look like thats happening lol

small update: after driving around with a missing 2nd gear for about 6 months now, i finally got my spare trans back from gearspeed today. had james and the crew go over everything in it. new sleeve sets, bearings, seals, etc. also went with an mfactory helical lsd, tsx 6th, and 5.0FD.
if you need a tranny built, parts, or even advice on anything transmission related, james is the guy to go to. he explained my options and walked me through the entire thing, never once trying to sell me something i didnt need. he actually talked me out of buying carbon synchro's since they were replacing the sleeve sets anyway. overall he gave me a great deal on everything and i will be recommending him and gearspeed to everyone. but enough with my little rant, here's a few pics i took really quick:
a lot better packing job than when i had it sent out

came back looking a lot cleaner than before

finally got a chance to install the cams and put it on the dyno last night. final numbers were 224whp and 151wtq. unfortunately the graph with the torque curve flew out the window when i was racing my friend on the freeway during the drive home lol. i'm trying to get another one from the shop. once my new header and 3" exhaust get put in i'll be getting it retuned again.

and because everyone loves vids: :D
