I need help I own a 1997 honda civic dx 5 speed
My clutch isn't fully engaging and I can't figure out why . I put a stage 3 clutch in
And after fixing my engine and everything I can't figure out why its not engaging .
I can shift it into a gear with the car on without touching the clutch and also when I do so my speedometer is reading speed !
I need help !! Please anything would be helpful right now

Stage 3 clutch doesn't really mean anything.
Are axles properly installed?
With the speedometer issue I'd have to suggest you double check your install. I haven't heard that one before.

its acting like its slipping but it shouldnt be.
it was all installed properly and the only thing i can think of is if something came loose while trying to put the engine back in.

im having the same exact issue only I dropped the >tranny< (gigity) to see if there was an issue inside with some of the other gears and after taping together all the gears for removal ( as the manual suggest) I find nothing looking worn down other than normal wear on the syncro's I thought my axels were all the way in also but now I have to think I may have the wrong intermediate shaft
