i got a in-dash cd-mp3 player. and damn it's nice!
i just got a panasonic in dash mp3 cd player and it's soooo cool! i have been on the same cd for about 2 weeks now and don't plan on taking it out anytime soon! right now i have 111 songs on one cd and it's still got 200 megs of mp3 space left. i don't think i will ever run outta songs. if your looking for a new cd player deck seriously look into one of these babies!
damn right it kills a cd changer. heh my deck also has cd changer support, i wonder if i can have 10 mp3 cds and literally never have to change them.
uuuggggghhhhhhhh
1+10 MP3 CDs

I think it was last year when I got my new (home) DVD player and I got one that does MP3s, that **** rocks for parties! Way better than dragging the PC out and connecting it to the stereo.

damn 11 cds times like 200 songs thats like 2400 songs, i don't even have close to that many songs! i would run outta space on my pc to fill those up!
hmm last time I checked I had about 6,500 MP3's in my collection.. I'm still waiting for my trusty ///Alpine CHA-1214 12 disc changer to break so that I can get a CHA-S634 w/ Mp3 capability but my 12 disc is still working flawlessly...
i have around 500 songs. i have cable internet but right now there is no need for a lot of songs as i have no burner yet, once i do i will fill up my hd again.
Do you notice a difference in sound compared to a regular burnt cd?
A friend of mine has a jvc mp3 player and when he burns his cd's it has to go by alphabetical order, he has no choice, this makes it difficult to find a song. Is this because of the software he is using?

I have an alpine 7995 and while not the cheapest deck out there (especially since it requires a separate amp for your compnents) i am more than pleased with the quality and the convenience of having all the songs on the cd. what i like to do it when i burn a Cd i print out the playlist from winamp with the song numebrs on it and stick the piece of paper in the cd case. it's great for finding specific songs. i also like the fact that it will show the song title/artist/album on the screen instead of just the timer. i have yet to notice a difference in sound quality between a burnt cd, mp3 cd or even a purchased CD.

I got a JVC KDSH707. There is a difference in sound quality between a regular CD and an MP3 CD. MP3's cut off the frequencies that you supposedly cannot hear, but you notice it when you pop in a regular CD and hear richer high hats and tom-tom drums. But it's not too big of a difference if the MP3 is decent quality.
thats weird, on my mp3 player i notice no difference between store bought cds and burnt mp3s. maybe you should burn at a slower rate to get better quality. or maybe you player isn't that good. my deck also shows the title and the folder name. next time i make a cd i will have to organize it better. and if you don't like your burning software look for free ones on the net, with more options.
