Icon2 TSW revo problem plz help?

I got a 92 eg6 and just got these rims and tires on it . They are 16inch revos with kuhmo all season tires. The center peaces screw in and have a plate that covers the lug nuts and then a blue nut is put on the end with pins that hold it in place. So my problem is that i have stock lug nuts on the rims and they dont allow me to put my full center peace on their because the plate does not sit flush so the pin wholes dont line up. So what should i do ? I thought about replacing them with just honda center caps or get different lug nuts and hope it works. So any suggestions ?

If you get a shorter lug nut, you should be fine. Plus, those wheels probably have conical lug seats. Factory Honda wheels have ball-type lug seats, which is rather different. Running factory lug nuts on those wheels is quite unsafe.

Something like these would work:
Gorilla short mag open end lug nuts
Kyokugen open end lug nuts

Those would have the better fit than the stock lugs like not being ball type fitment ?

They're much shorter than stock lug nuts. And, since they are open-ended, they won't stick out past your lug studs.

No, as long as the lug nut manufacturer is reputable and you get the correct thread pitch for your car.
