I've got a '96 Accord (VTEC). It's missing a little and the coil is out of spec. The cheapest replacement coil I found was the Accel coil (part #11076), the site I bought it from said it would fit and of course it doesn't. I've got an internal coil distributor but the accel coil's dimensions aren't quite the same as the stock unit and it doesn't match up with the distributor cap. Anyone successfully install this coil? Can I just get a different cap?

 

A while back before I went to an M&W PRO10 ignition I was trying similar. It just doesnt fit unfortunately, at least not anyway I could find that was reasonable.

Fortunately they work in other applications, so I sold it for what I paid for it to a friend for his teg that needed a coil.

 

I would send it back/sell it and save up the other $50 for an OEM coil. $93 +shipping from Hondapartsdeals.com. Or try a local parts store.
