Using the F22B DOHC dizzy in place of H22A distributor?
Alrighty. I had a JDM F22B DOHC going into my '97 Prelude. Through much research I've pretty much found everything I need to know with one exception.
I need to hook up the crank sensor. On an H22A it's down at the nose of the crank. On an F22B DOHC it's read from the distributor.
Can I just do a little re-wiring and use the F22B distributor and crank sensor vs having to buy a new oil pump, drop pan, remove covers, and swap crank gears?
If that can be done and someone has a little wiring info on it, that would be great. I'm an electrician for my day to day job so doing the work is cake. I'm just lacking the information on the subject.
Thanks.

It can be done. Check out rywire.com they have a conversion harness for obd2 to obd1. This is all you will need to buy to get the f22b distributor to work. its like $50 http://www.rywire.com/catalog/obd2-u...33c253e2336ce1
