I just blew the stock tranny on my 94 civic ex, I was wondering what transmission I should replace it with for better performance. I planned on just using the car as a everyday car until I could buy something newer to drive around and build up the civic for performance after I read up on it more, but I figure if I need to buy a new tranny for it now, I may aswell put in something with a little more *****. I'm pretty much a newb when it comes to hondas so if anyone could help me out with suggestions I'd love to know if something other than the stock tranny would bolt up to the D16z6.

ex or si like you have, dont believe 6th gen ex is any different. such as gear ratios if i remember right...
