Default Half radiator?

Would I need to run a half radiator for a turbo setup on my da? I was thinking the full rad would work but I want to be sure.

Not a DA, but my brother ran the stock full rad on his DC LS turbo without issue.

depends on the manifold and turbo selected. if you use a cast manifold you can usually squeeze a full size. ramhorns will want a half unless you do a lot of modding.

Alright thanks. That's exactly what I needed to know. Would any Honda half radiator and fan fit?

if you choose to go half rad, buy the tripple core mishimoto or a fat koyo. with half rads you'll need all the extra cooling you can get

Actually any rad you can get to fit will work, and I agree with racebum, go with a triple core.

Check out Mizu cooling solutions, good quality and very good pricing... http://www.mizuracing.com/

I have this one...http://www.mizuracing.com/product.as...ors&pvid=41993

Here is the Civic 1/2 size... http://www.mizuracing.com/product.as...ors&pvid=41977 ignore the pic, place curser over stock number for specs of the rad. 94

Would a full rad work with a tubular manifold but not a ram horn. Thanks for all the info I'm just trying to make sure I get everything right the first time.

depends on the dimensions.but for the sake of not having to remove everything later just get a half rad with triple core, tht way u have a better choice of manifolds IMO

sorry i didnt answer ur ?? but yes i have seen both manifolds work with full rads...

you're going to buy a manifold that cracks in around a month?

if you can't afford a doc race miniram at a minimum save until you can

Alright. I didnt realize they were common for cracking. A friend of mine had it for his current setup but decided to go with something else I thought it was a ram horn but that was what it looked like. I thought of buying it for my turbo build.

dude please dont get that manifold!!! that **** will break in a couple weeks. if its a daily driver just get a cast manifold. their strong and the best bang for the buck. just about all ebay headers break and thats no joke. i welded the wastegate tube back on my buddies ebay ram horn like 3 times. i also had one just like in the pic and every tube broke at the flange. if you want a good tubular header you gotta shell out the cheese. i would get a half size radiator and a cast manifold that way u have plenty of room.

the go autoworks cast manifolds are one of your better bangs for the buck. they also will work with your oem radiator. they flow plenty well for a stock bottom end and don't crack

http://www.go-autoworks-store.com/gobcamaco.html

this is a great deal beings you get the manifold, downpipe and dumptube for $519
