Default After piston soak, teg won't start

Fixed!

Last night, I removed the spark plugs, from my 2000 LS and I poured 1 oz, seafoam into each cylinder.

I waited about 30 minutes and cranked it once, for 2 seconds.
I looked into each plug hole, with a flash light and saw no liquid, only dampness.
I installed my plugs and I started it right up, after 2 seconds of cranking.
I drove it 50 miles.

This morning, I repeated the process.
Before I put the plugs back in, I saw liquid in 3 of the 4 cylinders.
I put a towel over the valve cover and cranked it a couple of times, for 2 sec.
The towel got a little wet, but I couldn't see anymore liquid.

I put the plugs back and now it won't start.
It turns over and I checked for spark (there was no spark)
I bought new plugs.
It still won't start.

Any suggestions?

You have killed your coil.

Once my helper comes back, I can check for spark directly out of my spark plug wire.

Until then, I will look for a primary resistance between .6 to .8 ohms and a secondary resistance between 12.8 and 19.2 K-ohms.

If these (Haynes, pg 5-1) values are good, can I check anything else, before I buy a coil and will a $22 dollar aftermarket coil work instead of an OEM 30510-pt2-006?

Update: the primary was .8 ohms but the secondary was 2.4 K-ohms. On the way to the store.

Replaced the coil and it's running, again.

if you ever check spark make sure all the wires are on the plugs, then, have 1 plug out of the hole while it's cranked and you watched the plug fire. do not put a wire to ground to check for spark, you'll kill your coil again

those ohm tests are also not always accurate i've seen bad coils test good

That won't tell you a thing.

Pull the coil and look for a heat-spot, like the ones shown on this page:

next time unplug the signal connectors at the distributor so that it doesn't fire while you are cranking the motor, better yet just remove the ECM fuse in the under hood fuse panel to disable everything while cranking.
