Ive never built anythig K so im selling all my B stuff and gonna build a K. Looking for around 750-850hp. Going to be doing a K24 bottom end, CP's and Manleys, and using GT4294R with a 1.10A/R. I just have no idea where to even start looking for a good style cam for this.I wouldnt mind ditching the VTEC if its better. Sorry for the total noob sounding question.

 

Prayoonto racing cams!! My friend has those cams on his k series and they work great! It made good power

 

Prayoonto Cams work well.

Got to watch which cams you use and how it is tuned. People have had problems with tearing up timing chains, tensioners, etc with certain cam manufacturers and cam profiles.

I would look into the Web cams, Prayoonto or BC cams if you got the money I hear that the Dragcartel one's are great as well. If you go with Prayoonto cams try his Stage 3, Stage 2 also makes great power from what I've seen.

prayoonto stg 2's here. made 60 more hp at same boost 25psi over stock cams. picked up a good bit of midrange torque too

The Prayoonto's hands down are the nicest to tune cams, honestly. The cam angle maps make sense, I have never had a car tear up an OEM tensioner with them, and Norris' customer service is top notch.

 

I would prolly be using a "killer" cam. Im not worried t having VTEC or the variable timing.

 

This is what I was referring to in my previous post. I have never heard anything bad about Prayoonto cams and it has been shown the make a nice amount of power over the stock cams in a turbo setup. Other cams I have heard of problems arising with them.

 

We do have killer versions, but variable timing (VTC) is a must. You will lose over 100hp if you don't use it in certain rpm ranges.
