I did a few posts looking for help with Prelude Barbie's power steering. Although many replys may be correct, short of replacing the rack & pump, I need help in trouble shooting it accurately. Don't have the money to fix everything. Just want to correct what's wrong...

It seems to be getting pressure on both side of the rack. wheels on the ground with engine running I can't turn it either way.

Up on jack stands, engine off, wheels turn freely.
Up on jack stands, the wheels will turn to the left on their own as soon as I start the engine. I can grab the wheel and stop it, but can't turn it the other way.

Up on jack stands with the pressure hose and return hose off the pump, the wheels will move in both directions and fluid comes out the pressure hose when turned one way and out the return hose when turned the other way.

Please help Prelude Barbie get her car back on the road !!
