98 Civic Coupe oil plug stuck
What do you mean, by it's "stuck"? is the plug stripped or just really tight?
If stripped, try some channel locks.
If really tight, use a breaker bar.

Just really tight. The last person to do the oil on it was my buddy who is a mech at honda he would have told me if it was stripped or whatnot. Yay another tool.
how about letting the car run for like 2 mins and turning it off. i usually do that and helps loosen the drain plug and the oil filter. maybe its the change in temp? dunno..
Yea I though running the car would heat up the metal. I'm using a ratchet with a 4" handle. The only other thing I have is a old school torque wrench with no adapters that fit it, unfortunately the closest auto/tool store around me is 15 minutes away.
I have the car up on jack stands I don't know if idling it while it's up is a good idea... But to put it up I have to use the jack that came with it till the floor jack I have can fit under then put the jack stand underneath and visa versa to remove it. If it's not safe I'll do it the long way, better safe than sorry. I have the e-brake on and 2 2x4s behind the rear wheels.
