doing a swap in 93 VX and cant find map sensor....on the firewall there is a white circular thinngy and a square 2 wire plug but no map sensor....

 

On the 92+ civics/teg they are on the top of the throttle body. which a three pin plug.

usually when you do a swap in 92-95 civic you plug the map sesor that is on the fire wall into the map that is on the top of throttle bodie of your swap motor

92-93 CX/DX/VX/LX had a firewall mounted MAP sensor, the EX/Si had a throttle body mounted MAP sensor.

Actually all VX's had a TB mounted MAP also.

 

I also believe it was the same for 92-93 CX's and VX's. TB mounted- at least for 93 CX/VX.

i have a cx, and my map was on the TB......

i think only dx hatches came with the map on the firewall

well, I guess the 92-93 DX/LX were the special ones. Doesn't really matter, they work the same.
