Default 95 Civic runs for a couple minutes then just dies

Ok so i went through hell doing my first engine swap on this car and it ran great for a couple months, but now it's doing this thing where I'll start it up and It'll run for a couple minutes then just die. I've checked the fuel system and the alternator they are both good so if anyone has any good suggestions for what to check next let me know Thanks for taking the time to read this post.

The fuel lines might have gotten clogged in the swap? Filter

I've swapped filters twice and it gets fuel to the filter so i know that atleast that far it's good are there any sensors that could cause this to happen?

CEL= check engine light?

Yellow light on dash. Itll appear for a second normally when you start car, if you have one itll stay lit. If you dont see it appear normally at startup, then theres other problems.

No check engine light. Would water in the fuel cause this problem?

No. Is the CEL even working? Hard to believe you have such an issue and no CEL goes off. And what do you mean you "checked" the fuel system?

might be dying after car swithched off fast idle check the IAC valve will be directly on the back of the inlet manifold,

once you take it of check the gauzed hole in it to see if it is gummed up if so carb cleaner should take care of it and allow you to check if it causing the problem.

Well it was definitley clogged so i cleaned it out and then i drove it around for a little bit but now i went to take it out again and i got maybe a quarter mile away from my house and it died on me again wouldn't start no check engine light or anything would it be water in the gas that could be clogging this? Also when it was running it had a really low idle it was just above the second line after zero on the tach so around 200 maybe

hmm not really sure what it could be but sounds like a bad main relay if ur luckie its a easy fix assuming its cheap sence u just ahve to pop it out n put new in

not that im saying to just buy it n hope thats the issue hopefully u can pocket it from a junkyard <.<;

Alright well recently i took the top bolt off of the fuel filter to check and see if it was getting fuel and after i did that it started up and ran fine i drove it probably 5 miles with no problems at all came back out a couple hours later and it started up then immediately died so would that be the relay or the ignition switch?

If you believe it is a fuel problem (water) why not pump the tank dry and flush the lines out? If it keeps crapping out its something else...
