2000 GSR Sputtering
Was checking out a friends car that wouldnt start, swapped over parts over to his car, and no luck. Put my car back together and then mine wouldnt start. So I ordered a new ignitor and switch out the coil fuse underneath the dash panel. Car turned on, and was on 1 cyl. Advanced the timing all the way and still same thing. My car was running pretty weak since I got it so never checked the timing. This came around and my timing was off 2 teeth or so... 30 minutes later It was back at stock spec timing, and car turned on NICE! drove her for about 2 - 3 minutes and I felt it sputtering. Now car sputters all the time. I put the scanner and its not reading o2 sensor 1 but read the second one. So I switched them around and same ****... the harness seems to never been messed with and the its connection seems just fine.
I dont know what it can be, I also switched out the coolant temp switch and still same deal.
I was reading other articles on the dizzy being put on the wrong way, but how can it if the teeth only allow to be placed one correct way.
