Is this possible? I have a 2000 SI and I'm trying to put a Mugen Twinloop axle-back on. The axle back is 2.5". I was going to buy the K-Teller 2.5" midpipe section, but I wanted to make sure it will bolt up to my stock cat first.
Thanks
Thanks
I don't understand what you're saying. Do you have the FULL Mugen exhaust? The B-pipe and Twin Loop or just the twin loop? The twin loop is not 2.5in and will bolt up to the B-pipe.

I just want to make sure a 2.5" b-pipe is going to bolt up to my stock USDM 2.25" cat and I'm not going to have to find a 2.5" JDM cat or anything.
The only reason I'm concerned is because the Mugen twinloop is a unique piece. The B pipe actually goes from 2.25" at the cat end to 2.5" at the muffler end, unlike Spoon and other "JDM" exhausts which are 2.25" straight back.
The little info I could dig up on google gave me mixed results, and almost everyone was running a JDM cat.
Wrong. It IS 2.5" at the axle back portion, and will NOT bolt up to the stock B pipe

So, you are Wrong. And a 2.5in midpipe will not bolt on to the stock cat. I have JDM 4-1 ITR header 2.5in to 2.25in test pipe ITR B-pipe and EM1 muffler. That same exhaust had a Even rarer than your twin loop. So, I know it is not 2.5in. The entire CTR EK9 Mugen exhaust is 60mm. All Mugen twin loops bolt up to the stock B-pipe.
And if you don't believe me why don't you actually put the muffler on your EM1. You'll see that it bolts right up. Plus if you have a stock B16A2 you don't even need a 2.5 exhaust.
