ok so i removed all the emissions equipment from my 2000 si. i am trying to figure out what to do with the larger metal line that comes up on the fire wire. it went to the evap canister and is now just open. it appears to be coming from the gas tank? what should i do with this? cap it, remove it, reroute it? also what do it do? thanks

 

I currently and have had mine just sitting there for the past 6 months with no problems. I plan on cutting it and capping it so it is not visible in the bay this spring.
