2001 honda prelude electronic issues ?
soooo 2 days ago i was at a camp ground in my lude and it was time to go but i couldnt see my way out and didnt want to hit tree or anything so i got my friend to help me back up i get in car and when i start up and shut door the door locks start doing the following. "unlock unlock lock" i was like uhhhh ???? and thought nothing of it then i went to roll my window down and neither side worked and window lock was set right tried playing with it no movement at all. these happened at same dead time no was circumstance is it ??? is there anywhere where these 2 issues could be connected ??? i checked the windows fuses both good maybe there is a fuse shorting out elsewhere that could affect it all ?? but idk how the 2 could be connnected just weird cause it all happened same time. any thoughts ??? only reason im posting late is cause i was hanging with friends and we were chilling outside so i went to warm up car b4 i go and i close door and of course it did its thing "unlock unlock LOCK" and when i went back to car .... oh look its locked -.- soooo i thought i would post this see if i get any hits todayyy while im at work so i can figure out how to fix this stupid issue. someone told me window master switch but i dont see how that could relate to the door lock cause its seprate and to me dosent make sense why the passeger window dont work even if u use sub switch on passenger door.

Unless you get reaaally lucky and someone happens to read this that has had this exact problem, your best resource is a google search and a schematic of the electronics (FSM, haynes, chilton)

I just did a quick search to verify. There are other people who have thoroughly discussed this and similar problems. Search "prelude random door locks" and I came up with a handful of posts with plenty of discussion on probable solutions and the design of the electric lock system.
sooo to clear things up lol i was iffy for one driving back there ( lowered prelude ftw) and didnt hit anything no weird noises rolled windows up and everything. didnt even stay night just few hours and it didnt rain. and i could check like the place where the singal is sent to my door lock but i still cant figure WHYYYY my windows are not working at the same time -.- from what it seems that should be related but seems weird how they could. i was hoping there was a point somewhere they were connected cause that would be the problem. but from what i kno i dont think they are connnected in any way ?

yea i serached but thing i cant find is cause mine isnt random :/ its literally only when u close the door u can bang on door and shake it it wont do it only when the car knows the door is shut.
Could be a problem with the driver's side multiplex unit, which controls both the locks and windows. It's behind the fuse box on the driver's side footwell. I have the random continuous unlocking, but it appears to be a bad junction connector right under the steering wheel.

soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo i tested alll multiplex parts by the way the maunal shows how to test it and so faar i have one more test to go i have found one problem. the ohm lvll on the ground from the master switch connector was not 0 forgot excat number but it was steady and not 0. i checked the mulitplex module thing in the passengers kick panel and it read 0 ohms when i tested the ground. makes me think from looking at this diagram it looks like it leads to g203 which is the right kick panel ground. im confuse why it would be on opposite side or maybe im reading wrong ? and if anyone knows off top of head where the kick grounds are ? its g200 and g203
