94 Civic - aftermarket radio wont play

Default 94 Civic - aftermarket radio wont play

Hello i just installed a new after market radio using the metra harnes in my 94 civic but for some reason the radio wont actually play it powers up fine and everything just like i would expect. so im guessing theres something i either missed or some trick to making it work. any and all help is greatly appriciated

Have you checked both radio fuses?

stock radio worked fine but i will go check them

*they are both fine

Fuses 32 (7.5A) and 23 (15A).

on the metra harness i have the orange left over not connected to anything its supposed to be the dimmer so it wouldnt hurt right and also i heard somethign about hooking th epower antenna wire up to the power amp wire and it would work that was on dodge forums tho. spread any light on that thoery?
