Sooooooo this will be my redo of my civic i sold 2 years ago. bought it back and man does it need some work but its all good. i just moved to dulles airport area and the scene over here is totally different then back in md. ill keep adding updates as i can but i haz no moneys!

So far i have another bumper cover on order, and some other little odds and ends. My goal is to have it at least looking halfway decent before IA so i got to work yesterday and started gathering prices and such.

parts still have yet to come in so no updates yet. hopefully it will be looking the way i want before the summer IA. not worried about the motor right now its my daily so im wating till i move to md in september to buy another car. the power suits me fine for now.

Happy Friday! on a bad note my bumper came in but it was for a coupe! so pissed but on a good note my car finally passed emissions and came home to this about 15min ago

So its monday and still no new parts. hopefully something will show up tomorrow and we can get this thing rolling! in the meantime anyone in NOVA have a factory ep3 exhaust im looking to trade my BC pro spec let me know!!!!

 

Update:

So my car is down right now. The car has Raceland coilovers from the previous owner that he gave to me for free, brand new in box so i put them on next day. come to find out that the noise i heard while driving which i thought was a wheel bearing was the shocks. so i jacked it up and found the the shock body and the rod in the center was moving back and forth about 2 inches! called them up and found out its a common problem so saturday i plan to take them off and ship them back so i can get new ones from my warrenty. BUT when i got home i saw the ups truck leaving and saw this...

Yeah i know "not real wheels" well they look the same, almost just as light and im not gonna flip **** when they get rock chips or scuffed. Also i tossed the painter at work 100 bucks to spray the bumper tuesday so check in for that!

 

Will do check in! Btw the people who criticize those with Rotas don't say **** when their volks end up the same way.

so i found the problem, finger tight! i couldnt beleive this when i saw it. Instead of sending them back i took them apart and put thread locker on the cap and used a hammer and punch to make sure it was nice and tight.

all back together and with no play at all, im really hoping this works out!

Also i replaced the cv axle and abs sensor this thing was so nasty

Also put the wheels on for a test fit and LIKE WOAH i cant wait till monday to get the tires mounted. Front bumper cover is on as well and the fitment is perfect could not as for better. still have an appointment tuesday for paint check back tonight for more pics.

my roomate got a sweet roller so we will see how much pulling we will have to do hopefully not to much. Probably gonna roll the front too just for some extra clearence. im so excited for tomorrow to get the tires on!

Gonna start rolling wednesday night into thursday night probably. The bumper is going for paint tomorrow so until they are just in the back of the garage.

Quick question, Is the front camber adjustabe from the factory? i have a kit for the rear but didnt no if i needed the front bolt kit or not?

needed money for college. seemed more important at the time.

so bumper looks real good and i started putting the wheels on and found out these cheap *** coilovers do not go low AT ALL!!! no rolling in the front needed but im still doing the rear tomorrow as long as i can get the rear camber kit to break loose, it's so rusted. And weksos is taking forever to ship my stuff which happens to include my lug nuts so i cant rock the wheels just yet.
