98 civic blown drivers side motor mount
hey guys, so tonight, one day after officially installing and setting up a d16z6 into my 98 dx coupe. I hammered on my car and revved out first gear and dumped to second i hear a loud clunk sound, i feel my shift linkage move. As i pull off to check out what just happened, I realize i blew apart the stupid factory oil filled drivers side motor mount. Oil sprayed out, and the mount actually ripped and compressed downward. Now the whole motor/trans is sitting slightly downward on the drivers side.
So what my question is, has anyone ever successfully accomplished cleaning all the remaining oil out of a ek/ej coupe drivers side motor mount to fill it will window weld with good results? or should i just go ahead and order aftermarket mounts? when i search up mounts for it on ebay, only b series and h series mounts pop up. So what should i go by doing?
Also i have considered just pulling the stupid mount out. My buddy has a eg parts car, and im thinking of possibly drilling the spot welds out of the drivers side mount on the eg, and welding the eg drivers side motor mount bracket into my 98 coupe, and just using a eg style mount instead.

I have heard of the hydraulic mount being filled with window weld, but I have never seen it done. There are probably a few companies that would sell just the driver side mount if you want that, or you can just go with a full aftermarket motor mount kit.
There's a reason that mount is a hydraulic mount, rather than a rubber or poly mount. Filling it with window weld won't be that comfortable to drive on.
