Default JDM "R" 5-lug (Has bigger Axles fo Realz)

Even though i read a thread on here a while ago about JDM 5-lug having bigger axles i wouldnt believe it until i tried it myself, and sure as **** my B-series 32mm U.S spec axle is way too small. So now i am up the creek without a paddle. Hopefully i can hunt down a set of JDM 36mm axles......

<-------Learned the hard way.

I'd appreciate any info on where to get a JDM set (axles/hubs).
Thought, getting replacement parts might be a bitch!

Ed, contact Larry Jr. at Import Auto Salvage (1-800-962-8922). He has tons of JDM "R" front clips in the Type-Arr graveyard. He might have front assembly w/ axles.

I think that you can hybrid some axles that use the prelude outer joint. I think that the "stub" is the same size as the 98 up R.
Someone else might know more specifics...

Ian, contact Ceas (tony), he's got USDM 5-lug w/ JDM axles, I believe. He can probably tell you where to source them. G'luck.

Import Auto Salvage is located in Marion, NC. I drove up there last friday and could have walked around for hours. Tons of goodies. Right out front of the place sits a blue EG6 clip, next to that is DC2 "R" clip and a SiR-G Vtec clip. Pretty cool to see these clips in person. He has a complete White Si-R EG6 front clip in-tact with everthing from the front seats to the front bumper. TONS of JDM EF goods too like Si-R bumpers, hoods, etc. Truly an "Evil" place.

Thanks for the tip Ian.
I ordered an "Endyn" breather kit from them not long ago.
I'm looking for some bigger axles to go with big boost, since I do't like fixing things while on the road.

Ed, one thing about the axle is the main shaft is not bigger, but only the input into the hub is 4mm larger.

I understand, ... Steve (sgT) had mentioned it some time back.
Other than that I was going to send the stubs (tranny side and hub side, for each axle) out to get cryo'd and hope for the best.
