Launch Control Help?
SO, i tapped into my Neutral safety switch so that when i let out of the clutch
the Rev limit is disabled. I have a Msd 6AL With Soft touch rev control. I have purchased the Rev control Box with a **** that adjust from 4grand ish? to almost 7grand.
I understand that msd NOTES- the wire length cannot be lengthen due to that fact that it will can the impedance and resistance of the wire
Thus- confusing the msd spark box resulting in no rev limit.
SO I have installed a Relay with absolute minimal wire length to the "resistance ****" -aka rev limit ****.
I have double checked all contentions and voltages.
Still no luck engaging rev control with the help of the neutral safety switch

we used to run the MSD 6AL (the old model 6420 without built in rev limiter) with MSD 2-step on our drag car - this is how it worked (we did also use a Hurst Line-Loc on the rear brakes) - we used a Hurst 163-0069 shift **** with built-in 12v momentary switch and when you pushed in the clutch pedal, you then pressed the momentary switch on the shift **** - this activated both the launch rev limit and the line-loc - when the clutch pedal was released, this cut-off the launch rev limiter and released the line-loc - this is the wiring diagram using the 2-step:

i don't know if there is a way to disable the rev limiter using the clutch switch - the easiest solution might be to add a MSD 8732 2-step which plugs into the gray wire on your 6AL - this is what you would have with the MSD 8732:
