Default 13bt's 94 Civic hatch progress build

Well here is my 94 Civic Cx I purchased back in '03. Had a shotty 'rebuilt' engine with GSR sunflowers and the red/white tails. Alot has happened over the last 8 years but nothing major as far as swaps or a complete restoration.

Id like to keep this going as long as I can though to keep her looking pretty on the road.

Mar 03

This is how I got her after i swapped in the OEM tails

Fast forward to Jan 05

I finally started to do little things to the car. By this time I swapped the GSR/SE wheels for some 17" Konig Verdicts, rocked that for a while until i swapped those out for 14" miata wheels and then setttled on 14" HX wheels

Also picked up from Del Sol seats at the junkyard that time as well. Soon after I entered my first autocross.

Oh yea and also I picked up some Spoon replica mirrors along the way.

So I think my car reached its peak around this time...

....until one rainy night I locked my brakes up into an SUV

That was in Summer of 2005. About of month of waiting for a shop to get a core support in I go to a different shop that had it in stock. Pick it up and the next free weekend I went to town. Unfortunately I had no pics of the R&R process but it wasn't too bad drilling out all the spot welds. After the new support when on I threw on some replacement panels from some buddies and buttoned her up

After that picked up a new hood and both side fenders as well as some JDM sidemarkers and a JDM antenna blockoff

After some months go by I get a crazy idea to attempt the $50 paint job. Lesson learned...never doing that again

Dont let this pic fool you. There are so many runs on this car and parts I missed...I should have left it as is. Anyway...to this day im still living with that mistake haha.

Picked up a mint OEM nose mask and some Rota Slips and also a set of OEM style fogs off ebay.

Meanwhile, I decided to pick up a few goodies for the interior

Also swapped out the integrated control unit behind the cabin fuse box and gained an intermittent setting for my wipers.

Well thats it for now... till next time...

^ thanks dude

so yea, remember that saying "you get what you pay for" when buying things off ebay...i suppose thats everything lol. Back in February I bought a new dizzy to replace my failing one. Everything is going all smoothly until I notice very subtle hiccups with my engine performance. I didn't think anything of it unti it happened.

Car died when leaving the office for lunch. Luckily i didn't get too far so I was able to get some help to be pushed back into the lot. The next day I observe the "new" dizzy and notice a couple things missing....can you tell me what you don't see? =P
