As a complete swap, no, it is not possible. The motor mounts changed completely between 87 and 88, so any 88 or newer engine will not "bolt in." I am still trying to figure out if a mini-me style head swap is possible though, but going from preOBD to OBD1 is a killer... does anyone know if I can wire an OBD1 TPS into a preOBD (86-87 Civic Si) ecu, or would the voltages be off? What is the differences (flow rate, and impidence) between preOBD, OBD0 and OBD1 cars? Finally, what the hell can I do about the vacuum advance distributor? If I can figure these things out, I might try to mini-me my 87 Si.

 

you will have to make custom made engine mounts to drop it. that will be a nice set up, or you can go with a B or H series engines as well it's all up to you.

just swap in a D16A1 out of a 87-89 integra! it is worth it believe me!

 

i am in 13's no problem! so i mean depends on how much money you got! my car in total with everythign is about 3000!
