hello everyone i just want to know if this is normal, i just ordered a jdm b16a and i looked inside the valve cover and noticed little scratches on the casting of the head above the valve springs. is this normal? i forgot to take pics but im sure this topic has came up before

please help! im scared!

its probably some excess cast that's been ground off, or from when the springs were installed

 

i had those too??? but motor runs fine who knows
