hey, first post here so dont start finding the flaws already lol

well i got a 1995 hatch eg and its good, although the steering column was broken somehow (previous owner) and i managed the take the top part out and i took the bottom part out myself. i bought another one from a friend in blue which i couldnt find online and now i dont know how to put it lol so i need help.

and the climate control light wont light up i dont know why either it did just once last month and then died. i tried hitting it on the side everything and no luck. i appreciate your help. thanks.

Make sure the connector at the rear of the climate control is fully seated.

 

ok but wait, are you supposed to take the steering wheel off??

its because i can put the lower column fine, its the top one that wont go fit in place i dont know why

ok i thought so.. and why is the SRS always on does that mean that the airbag dosent work?

 

Reset the airbag/SRS computer to see whether the SRS light remains off.

You need a service manual for your car.
