Default 97 accord and 98+ accord!!!

I need help, does anyone know if the 98+ accord coilovers will fit the 97 models? thanks!!

To tell you the truth, coil overs suck on accords, i would avoid them if possible, but coilovers are usually all universal for accords, like arospeed, matrix, and all those other names like those are the same model # for all years........So i would say yes...

Unfortantly i would have to disagree saying that usally all coilovers are universal for accords. Maybe for the cheap pos they are universal but you get what you pay for. And if your going to say coil overs suck i hope your not talking about true 'coilovers' go buy some tein's and see how they suck. lata

well, thanks for replying, I don't have an accord, i have a prelude, my cousin needs to know b/c he came across 98+ skunk2 coilover sleeves. thanks!

the only reason i'd say no is because the ride on skunks is already stiff, and if you put springs that have rates for a heavier car (the 6th gen accord), in a lighter car (the 5th gen.), it'll be even stiffer, and probably bouncier because the struts wouldnt' be able to dampen the stiffer spring as well.

if he has enough money to get apexi full coilovers or teins coilovers, then no doubt get them cause u can adjust dampening rates, height and all sorts of those good stuff..........
