First step is gathering the parts I've got a K20a3 motor out of a 03 SI. And I'm gonna buy a 6speed out of an 04 Rsx type s. I'm also gonna buy a hasport mount kit,a full race cross member. I'm sure ill need some help, and any advice could help.

Of all the K-Series motors, you picked the worst one lol. Good luck though. And don't forget to set aside money for kpro and tuning.

For the money, a k24 would cost the same, yet net more power

For the same money as that other car, you could buy a bike with less power and do wheelies!

ZCs are cheap... There's a ZC on my local CL for $400 w/tranny.

No way a K20 will cost less than that and be in any good-to-run condition.

It only cost myself $300 for a 2004 Accord K24A4 long block. I still think its a better deal than the 2.0L version

if u use a k24 you will have hood clearance issues and parts for k-swap on a crx i know k-tuning has swap packages but their big $ hasport axles are 3-400 hondata k-pro ecu is $1000 mounts on hybrid racing are like 400 and u'll need FPR setup shifter bracket is like 160 p/s and a/c pulley is like 250

once you start pushin more than 300whp 1-2 gears are weak in the k-trans and they shatter but PPG has that coverd for $2000

I wouldn't do any k series in an EF anyway....and if i did go to the trouble, it wouldn't be a base model k20a3, that was my point

You can buy B18C engines very cheap now days, as well as B20Z engine, they are the two bank for the buck setups available imo
