Default wire for turbo blanket

The wire that holds the turbo blanket tight on the turbo...Where can i get that stuff and what would it be called. I tried mechanic's wire from my job and it was to thick and didnt work to good.

Would home depot or lowes have something that would work? I just dont know where to look. I googled with no luck

I ditched the wire long ago on my blanket, But its a top mount and cant fall off. I like Lightnings idea of the springs
