Acura just told me that R wheel studs no longer exist!?!
This situation has got me ripping my hair out and I am in need of some help.
Quick overview of the situation: Had to have 3 studs replaced. When Acura replaced them, they were noticeably shorter than the stock wheel studs. This resulted in a search from acura and after running the piece through their database they came up with 2 part #'s. Both of these part numbers were the same wheel stud and are the same ones that they already put on the car.
Can someone suggest a way to obtain stock R wheel studs because my dealer can't seems to believe that Acura does not make them anymore and that the remaining ones have disappeared.
Thanks

Thanks Yoshi. I just spoke with Scott and he was very helpful. He gave me various part numbers which I'm going to use to cross-reference my dealers part numbers with. Hopefully I can get to the bottom of this. At least now I have somewhere to start. Thanks again and thanks to Scott at Southcoast Acura.
Well, just got off the phone with my dealer and they still have no answer to this problem. I gave them 1 part # that they might have not had and I believe they are going to check it. Basically, they tried to tell me that its no big deal that the stud is slightly shorter.
Scott told me that the LS, GSR, and R all have the same part number for the wheel stud, which means that it is mass produced and shouldnt be that hard to find. This puzzles me more though because if all of them are the same, and the ones they put on my car are still shorter, then WTF type of stud did they use on my car.
On my dealers computer, the part number they looked up corresponds with an R wheel stud, so it must be the right one. They just told me that Honda might have consolidated parts and that the slightly shorter ones are the ones they are using now.
The story continues.....

so you dealer showed j00 the p/n on their computer, but did they show j00 the actual part? Just wondering since the bag it comes in should've had the p/n printed on it.
Thats a good suggestion Yoshi, and I thought about that when they handed me the bag that they put the broken studs in. It had a part number on it and I didnt recognize it, I just figured they just found any old bag lying around to put my parts in. Let me run to the garage and check.

talk to monkey truck R. he had to have a stud replaced and the replacement is shorter than all the rest. just like your situation.
Not good news, especially since I saw some metal flakes on my ITR studs the other day and was wondering what might be up.
Pllease post the correct length part # is you ever figure it out. TIA

90113-SM1-005 (ROCKNEL FASTENER)
88-00 Civics use the same studs listed above
86-89 integra rear hub uses a stud thats longer, try that.

you might get the Honda part number off of the package, and go to a Honda dealership to cross reference the PN's.... 5G Preludes shouldn't be too far off....

You know it is possible they changed it for all integra's after a certain year.
