It's hard to say without any pictures, but if everything's in good shape I think you could get a lot more than 2K. I would say 4000 or more...

I would say about 4000 maybe 4500. What were you thinking about asking? Granted you spent much more than that but that seems about what someone would pay.

can't really put up pics right now b/c like i said, body work isn't done and it isn't painted yet. looks like *** at the moment all primered. but if i sold it then i will have it painted and everything first...my dad is a collision man who also paints very very well. so...but my lawyer is giving me the run around right now so i don't know if i lost it or not? hope not........and 2k my ***....ha...that would cover about what i paid for it bone stock and torn up a little plus my seats..

 

Sorry if you feel that way...I put 2K because thats what I would pay if I wanted to buy your car without actually seing it. You had a long list of mods that I didnt care about but I'm sure its worth a lot and would be considered. About your "2K my ***" comment...you're quite right and if thats the price you paid for your car bone stock, torn a bit plus seats...thats the only thing I want and not all your ricer mods.

 

4000-4500 are you serious?? thats way too cheap for a car you spent 7k to 8k on....seriously though sell that thing to someone in canada and that thing will be gone in a day....two at max.....its up to you. i know someone who was selling a stock 88-89 CRX Si primered black for 6500 and someone bought it right away....personally i wouldn't spend more than $3000 on a 88-89 model maybe for a 90-91 model.....

You can't expect to ever get what you put into these cars. I'm almost at 7k spent and that's it, thats the most i could ever DREAM of selling it for w/o pulling 10s and putting 10k more into it. I say Dream because its unlikely i'll find someone willing to pay 7k. You will NEVER get your money back on ricer mods like altezzas.

Good luck on selling it but sometimes it makes more sense to part it out.

Especially taking out things that dont increase the value to their street worth, like stereo components. I'd strip the speakers and stereo, sell em separate. Nobodys going to rationalize a higher price by how the stereo sounds.

 

Personally I would be willing to send more on an 88, but that is just me.

 

ok first off, i do not have altezza's. sorry. what is so "rice" about my car? because i have clear corners or because i have a body kit? it is one of the most suttle body kits out, there are no sterio components..just speakers in stock locations where the stock ones had no surrounds or anything left. and yes everything is done right, i refuse to ghetto rig a car. i don't expect to get what i put into it. sorry that i shaved my handles or did anything to my car that i personally like. i wouldn't wanna run around stock cuz its cool and look like every other damn crx around. i love honda-tech, but it really pisses me off how people want to talk **** when somebody has a ****** personal prefrence for their own ****. sorry to any mods, don't mean to affend people, just dont like people talking trash b/c their car is damn jdm..o sorry, i mean j-oem...

 

Just try and sell it for about 5k once all the body work is done. If nobody buys it, go down in 500 increments. Don't go less than 4k though. It's worth 5,000 IMO.

I don't see why so many people sell their CRX's though... I love my STUPID CRX!

 

well i don't want to but if i lose my licence for a year, then screw it, i don't feel like doing too much more to it, and i don't need it sitting around, i could make a new project and roll up in something all new and nobody would know what is done..in a year that is. and to clear things up..before anybody flips..i am not against jdm, its cool, it is a personal prefrence..just like my mods are..... just had to vent. why not have a car semi-show ready that still hauls ***. and yes u would be very suprized what my little z6 will do...
